Advantageously located, Zygi is situated between Larnaca and Limassol; right on the coast. As Cyprus is a small Island, Zygi is in the ideal village to have accommodation as a base to be able to explore the Island. Larnaca is a 25-minute drive and Limassol is a 20-minute drive away. Other nearby popular visiting areas are Mazotos (Camel Park) – 10 minutes away, hiking trails in nearby villages, the Neolithic Settlement of Choirokoitia, Skarinou donkey sanctuary and much more. This area of Cyprus has kept a little bit of the Cyprus feel. This is an Ideal location for people looking for tranquility and a good sense of Cyprus over modern buildings and noisy roads.

Zygi is also called a Fisherman’s village in Cyprus. A thriving fishing community, where the surrounding sea is a rich breeding ground for a number of fishes. Village fishermen supply their catches to restaurants and fish markets.

Places to visit and see in Zygi.

Agios Eracledios Church – is the oldest Church in Zygi, it was built likely around 1800. Another version is that, immigrants from Mikra Asia may have built this church. It celebrates every 17th of September.

Agios Kyriakou Country Church – built around 1955 by Pattihes family who are managing a carob business. It celebrates every 29th of September.

The Apostolos Varnavas Church – built after the Turkish invasion, in 1986 and is at the center of the community. It celebrates every 11th of June with a fair.

Zygi Beach – a small laid-back beach with sunbeds just ar the end of the marina.

Zygi Marina – a small marina with a nice walking deck and facilities all around.

Monument of George Koumbaris – a Cypriot hero, who risked his life during the Turkish invasion. The monument is in the community park.

About the property:

The property is located on the sea side of Zygi main coastal road. The beach is only 20 meters away and all taverns and amenities are within walking distance.

The property is a studio apartment that can sleep up to 3 people and is around 35 square meters. There is a double bed and a double sofa bed. Since it is a studio and all is within one space (other than the shower room) it is better for a couple or a small family that intend on spending more time outdoors. Guests must be aware that the property is newly renovated and petite.
